Bitcoin bear market has crushed one of my close friends I have onboarded about a year ago. Received "sorry, I'm out" this morning. It's really sad as we had nice conversations about bitcoin and related matters 🥺

I am about to liquidate my retirement account (similar to IRA), and convert funds to bitcoin. I'm getting a hefty penalty, but I am a believer, it's going to be better long-term. ⛓️‍💥

I don't get this hype about A\ Fable... Maybe for some green-field projects. Using Fable for building new features in the existing sourcebase... Slow, and still needs babysitting - do this, don't do that. Provided wireframes, and it literally implemented wireframes. Switching back to faster models.

Brace for impact. Remember the last cycle mantra "move your coins out of exchanges"? Now, move out of or decrease the leverage to the minimum. It's gonna be nasty.

I spy a strange paradox - two AI companies IPO'ing. But if you bet on AI, you must bet even bigger on bitcoin as the ultimate money technology. 🤷‍♂️

Strange, I have not seen a BTC price chart analyst that would have explored how the price, in bear regime, retraces to the past price and it covers longer and longer time spans. 🤔

When price drops, there's a tendency people start to predict even lower prices 😊 Well, I secretly hoped I could see a -71% drawdown this bear cycle (mostly based on historical rhythm and the winners/losers ratio). But what if it stops right before it even reaches the -70%? Here's a scenario it *could* play out. Maybe it's gonna be clear in hindsight, or maybe it's gonna be just a wishful dream? 🤷‍♂️

Now we're talking 🤘DCA full steam ahead.

Why I think we're not out of the woods yet - the momentum indicator shows only two fuck-ups (1M) in the bear trend. Need at least three. That third one, in an ideal case, should result in a bullish divergence. My own strategy? Well, there's no one - I'v been DCA'ing since the last local bottom, and I'm going x2 that once 1W closes below 200W MA, plus adding fat lump sums on nice 3M candles. ! the chart's in BTCEUR !
