Normie friends are reaching out as they want to start investing. I'm sorry, but within the EU there's no chance to custody Bitcoin for those who just want to buy a couple hundred bucks. That's why I tell them to buy IBIT in Europe and chill.

I have a childhood friend in the States, we basically grew up together. These days we regularly talk about investing and share ideas. They’re already millionaires, yet they still refuse to seriously look into Bitcoin. So now, every day, I have Grok generate a short video that literally calls out their name and just says: ‘Buy IBIT.’ 🥲
If you live in the States, five years ago you were using one of these. But in 1970 (some of you were already around), Americans had these Kennedy half dollars in their pockets: 40% silver, 11.5g total weight, half dollar face value. Worth $14 now. 🤑

Gm Nostr! Appreciate you very much! Some art for my feed: Death by Algorithm. XCOPY, 2019.

Since February 2024, every Sunday, both the artist and his community share ‘flowers’ on the timeline as a gentle ritual appreciating the art behind Flora Forms. The first Bitcoin art collection adopted by a 300-year-old museum, house of Gustav Klimt’s ‘The Kiss,’ to which the collection is inspired. #sendflowers

Signed up for Audible and got 1 credit to acquire an audio book. Didn’t hesitate on my pick, and I can now listen to @LynAlden Broken Money

A new node is in town! My setup: Raspberry Pi 5 16gb, Argon Neo 5 case with active cooling and NVMe hat, 2TB SSD.

The record sale of Gustav Klimt’s painting (second only to Salvator Mundi) shows that art never dies. Do you agree the same is true for art on Bitcoin? Interestingly, a 300-year-old museum that houses many Klimt masterpieces has indeed collected and promoted Bitcoin based art.

It’s time to set my first full bitcoin node up. And, why not, also a Nostr relay. I wonder if a Raspberry Pi 5 16GB is too much or not. Umbrel 2TB would be my go to, but it’s to pricy. Any thoughts?

Nostr is up. Viva Nostr
Digital collectibles. That's it! AmEx is now into it.

Arrangements: a collaboration between the award-winning visual poet Ana María Caballero and the UNESCO Francisco Carolinum Museum, Linz. The 130-year-old institution wanted to celebrate the 200th anniversary of composer Anton Bruckner’s birth. The visuals are curated by the generative artist Harto, and (most importantly) everything is inscribed in Bitcoin for preservation.
There's a lot more to uncover about this stunning work (824 unique pieces) both on the artistic and the technical side...

A 302 years old institution, one of the oldest museums in the world is adopting, promoting, and stewarding art on Bitcoin. The Viewfinder collection, by the artist Marcel Schwittlick (b.1989), was recently presented in a breathtaking venue: The Belvedere Museum in Vienna, Austria.
Reddit officially retires the Reddit Collectible Avatars (RCA) program. These avatars were a unique way to customise PFPs with multiple personalisation option. They onboarded over 30 million wallets (users may have multiple) without explaining the technology. Pre-IPO, the program gained significant traction, generating millions in value.
