I’m running a lightning node via TOR and two of the channels I’ve been connected too for some time just stopped being connected. I’m not even able to connect to them with a peer connection. However they seem to be “online” when looking at amboss and even one of the channels operators has confirmed that it’s up and running on their end. Any ideas or thoughts as to why I’m unable to connect with them? #lightningnetwork

I see plebs earning btc via zaps for shitposting, nostr verifications, nostr relays, and nests. Are there other ways? Do share, I would like to document all the ways one can earn for fun and profit.

Nostr and running a node has gotten me thinking of all the other things that need to be decentralized just to operate in today’s world without fear of censorship. For example, decentralized domain names, web hosting, email type communication services, image, audio, video hosting, etc. Anyone else thinking about this? Anyone else creating or using services like this? Recommendations?
