I'll never know because apparently it's now legal for banks to discriminate for any reason. BTW there are quite a few companies creating user ratings of all sorts and it's already used by banks so this whole " social credit score" from China is already implemented worldwide. Don't worry, you'll be fine as long as you do what you're told... I guess we're entering a phase where you have to behave in an approved way to access the financial system. Given how hopelessly corrupt this system is, I must he doing " something" right 😆

Every accommodation in Europe asks me for ID, date of birth and address. Some go as far as taking photo of both sides of my ID with their phone. Apparently legal requirement covered by GDPR. Yeah right, like that's going to help when data is leaked unknowingly. From security point of view this system is designed to enable identity theft.

You can also switch between Core and Knots implementations at any point while using same underlying storage. Commands: pulumi config set bitcoin-knots:enabled true # or pulumi config set bitcoin-core:enabled= true pulumi up # wait for node to sync, then pulumi config set electrs:enabled true pulumi up Wait for Electrs to index the blocks, then use "electrs:50001" to configure your wallet software. If you also have MinIO (S3 storage) component enabled then daily incremental backups will happen automatically.

Photos from recent trip to Morocco. Initially I just planned to escape the European winter and check out @outsiteco place at Marrakech. But then I found @wheelsofmorocco so the plan pivoted rather quickly to motorcycle riding the following week 😎 It's the best way to see the country! Each day we saw so much more than if travelling by bus. Turned out it's Ramadan, a month of fasting for Muslims which for us meant less traffic, late dinners and no beer...supposedly 😏 Fasting sounds like a great idea, but then if you live there and are seen eating in public during the day - you can go to jail, which is exactly the kind of BS I'd expect from a government. Nevertheless, great country to visit particularly for the architecture, culture, food (chicken tagine, big fan! not that we could get much more at that time) and a solid Arrakis experience out in the desert. Fascinating country with amazing open spaces and surprisingly good twisty roads in the Atlas mountains. It does get cold up there! #motoadventure #motorcyclelife #morocco #atlasmountains #desert
