image 3 Years of notes in obsidian. I don't write much these days, but looking at this does give me motivation to keep creating more. Its good to not get distracted by new shiny objects and A.I tools and write your own notes yourself.

One of the best decisions I've taken for minimizing my phone use has been using a minimal launcher and turning off all notifications that are non urgent in nature. Also don't use YouTube app to watch videos instead I watch it in brave browser, it's less sticky and I can turn off shorts and other attention grabbing features. 😌 image

Most people want a system to fix their life. But systems don’t create discipline—discipline creates systems. Build one small rule you actually follow. Then let it multiply. One reliable habit > 100 productivity hacks. #habits

You don’t heal by chasing “good vibes.” You heal by sitting with the part of you that you’ve been avoiding. Anger, fear, regret—these are not enemies. They’re doors. Every time you open one, you get closer to who you truly are.

Most people think progress comes from adding more—more habits, more books, more tools. But real growth usually comes from subtraction. Subtract the voices that drain you. Subtract the habits that don’t serve you. Subtract the need for instant results. Subtraction creates space for the right things to grow.

*Your Name is the First Thing That Creates Your Ego* Your name plays a significant role in shaping your identity because it's often the first thing we associate with ourselves. It's a tool society uses to differentiate us from others, and over time we internalize that label as part of our personal narrative. When you're called by your name, it instantly draws attention to you as an individual, again reinforcing a sense of self. Now, imagine if you didn’t have a name. Without that specific identifier, you'd lose a major reference point for your individual identity. This could lead to a more fluid sense of self, where you don't see yourself as distinctly separate from others. In turn, this may reduce the tendency to form a strong ego, which thrives on distinctions and separations, like "this is me, and this is not me." Names often contribute to ego creation because they personalize experiences. When we achieve something or feel hurt, we associate those experiences directly with ourselves, because they happened to "us"—to the named self. This creates a stronger attachment to identity and can foster an inflated sense of importance or ego. Without such an attachment, we might see our experiences more impersonally, reducing the need to guard or enhance the ego.

As soon as the knowledge of the Reality has sprung up, there can be no fruits of past actions to be experienced, owing to the unreality of the body, in the same way as there can be no dream after waking.
