We were helping out with a volunteer repair project this week at the Ralph Forster Hut on Mount Robson. Built in 1970, this is a mountaineers hut for parties climbing Mount Robson, and a spectacular place worthy of preserving. Thanks to all involved, hopefully the hut will be a shelter to climbers for years to come! #BCParks #Valemount #MountRobson #11000ers

Yesterday the Berg Lake Trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park re-opened fully for the first since 2021. Well done BC Parks with great new bridges, re-routes, and other upgrades to this awesome area! Out in Valemount today with a morning stroll around the Cranberry Marsh and an afternoon ramble checking out snow levels. Still a bit too early to start our guided day hikes rambling up to the scenic heights of McKirdy Meadows but still great views across the valley! Always a striking difference this time of year between the teal glacial water of the mighty Athabasca River and the non-glacially fed Miette River. The Athabasca is the largest river system in Jasper National Park and empties into the Arctic Ocean! #MyJasper #CanadianRockies

We were out in Valemount yesterday and did a quick ramble around the Swift Creek Trail (a scenic loop with open viewpoints, impressive cedar trees, and peaceful forest).
