This is a summer evening when you don't want to go home - with a warm, light wind that carries the scent of lilacs from the shore. And most importantly - the fish are catching, which makes you extend the self-imposed driving time home by 30 minutes again and again. The zander season is open - this time in Mazais Baltezers. Tonight, on the table will be lightly salted zander fillet sandwiches with butter, onion, lemon pepper and a little dill. One of my favorite dishes. And yes - #summer is just beginning! #fishing
