Simple pleb question. I was running a 2/3 coldcard mk4 multisig. All three seeds were generated by the coldcards and all three had a version of the affected firmware. Did I just get lucky or did the 2/3 multisig provide some manner of extra protection? I’m trying to understand how I didn’t get rugged. I’m also not a millionaire and maybe my stack didn’t reach the draining threshold. Cuz I’m convinced this was an inside job.

I’m gonna just call it a miracle that I was able to migrate my funds off the cold cards and to another hww. Also if this was a coordinated theft, I’m also thankful that my funds most likely fell well below the threshold of the amount in wallets they targeted. It would be an absolutely devastating loss for me, but still well below the amount that OG’s have. When I opened up sparrow yesterday I was surprised to see that I still had a balance. My coldcards are trash now. I’ll never use them again. Even if they put out new firmware and everyone agrees that it’s rock solid. I’ll never use a coldcard again. The screwup was that bad and that negligent that it would be utter foolishness to ever use a coldcard again.

7-OH should be banned in every state. That shit is fucking heroin. I know because from ‘05 to ‘08 I was addicted to oxys/dilaudid/roxys/morphine/percs/vics/fentanyl/any fucking opiate. Went to rehab and got clean. I stupidly tried 7-OH and that was it. Two and a half months straight. Blew at least 2gs on it. Started at 7-15 mg/day and before I FINALLY stopped I was taking almost 250-300 per day. And that’s not a lot compared to some folks. I’ve got about 6 hours before I’m at 72hrs clean. And let me tell you, HOLY FUCK JUST AS BAD AS OPIATE WITHDRAWAL. Zero sleep, can’t keep anything down, body feels like lead, aches, all of it. I went to an IV clinic today to get some electrolytes and zofran. I wouldn’t wish this on anybody.
