This classifier stage will be there tomorrow at the match that I’m gonna shoot. I was lucky to have access to it and practice this stage yesterday. I did around 10 runs and I hit A class in almost every run. Sometimes B. That’s an absolutely mind blowing level up in my performance.
Let’s see how I do it tomorrow at the match. If I shoot this match at B level I will become an official B finally.

A week ago I participated in my first outdoor match. I was very scared to try it but deep down I knew it was time to get out of my comfort zone. If I want to start shooting at a more serious level I must get used to shooting outside. It is more difficult than indoor shooting for many reasons:
First of all the stages are more difficult, there are more targets, there are various types of targets and bigger distances.
Secondly it is extremely hard to move and be stable on the gravel and dirt.
Weather conditions affect your shooting too, you have to spend all day outside waiting for your turn to shoot. It becomes a torture when it’s too hot.
Moreover direct aggressive sun made my red dot so tiny, I could barely see it and multiple times I completely lost it and it ruined my shooting time. The lesson learned: now I shoot fully occluded with a black tape.
Those are not excuses though, I still went there and did it, and I did surprisingly well: I am 12th out of 29 people in carry optics division, with 74% (out of winner’s 100%) which is a very decent performance.
I shot 5 stages with one classifier. I failed the classifier but it did not upset me, I’ll do better next time.
I am really bad at shooting from uncomfortable positions, I always lose the dot and lose the time searching for it. Especially shooting from behind the corner. So now I spend time practicing it at home
Last match results: I am 24 out of 55 in carry optics division and 41 out of 97 overall 😎
I did way better than a bunch of military and police dudes.
3 Mikes (missed the target) and 1NS (hit a no shoot target). My hits are very decent which means I must significantly push the speed

Here are couple of stages from the match yesterday. Weak hand only shooting is wild, usually my gun jams a lot because I don’t have enough grip with my left hand. Yesterday I was squeezing it so tight as if my life depended on it lol. No jams!
Big milestone achieved at the competition yesterday: I hit B level on both qualifying stages 😎. Usually we have 5 stages at a match, and two of them go to the official scoreboard of USPSA – those are classifiers.
I am already a B level shooter during my training, but I never qualified officially as a B because I get very nervous and fail every time at matches.
Yesterday I finally got my shit together and delivered the best performance I could 😌
Now to become an official B I have to do it a couple more times because USPSA calculates an average level out of all competitions you participated in. #gunstr #uspsa
This garbage performance two days before a match 😭
Shoot me in the leg please
This is absolutely mind blowing. American shooting champions reach out to me and offer to work with me. I can’t say no to this

My shooting performance is significantly affected by my horrible running skills lol. Bad running = slower shooting. I have this stupid habit that I’ve been fighting forever: I make this tiny little step back to better accelerate but in fact it makes me slower and less explosive 🥲 no struggles with sideways running though. Working on it, ladies and gentlemen
Some dry fire practice for you.
Once a dude asked me if I’m practicing to protect my bed lol. 90% of shooting practice is done at home.
You can tell that I love $uicideboy$ 🫠
I have to admit that stock Gen6 trigger sucks. I had my entire trigger system replaced and I got a new trigger shoe. Total game changer in my shooting performance. The old trigger was heavy and it caused a lot of trigger freeze and unnecessary gun movement. The new trigger is smooth and the shoe now is wider which makes pulling easier. 10/10

That’s how it’s done 💁🏼♀️

This was a qualifier stage at a competition three days ago. I completely failed it there.
Today during training I achieved level A when shooting it 😱
Level A is a sick milestone, currently I’m officially C level which is very bottom of the USPSA world lol.
I keep watching this footage and I can’t believe I’m able to go this fast. I must achieve a stable B level by the end of this year, it’s my goal now.
Okay guys let’s check if Nostr is really good for crowdfunding 💁🏼♀️
This is the shooting earbuds worth of $1600 that I dream of getting. Zap this post so I can buy it and look cool at my shooting range 😎

Nice opening line Jacob 🥰

Back to business 😎 not too bad after four weeks off. I’m really happy with my speed here and proud of how I shoot when exiting a position (when I move backwards and shoot). I definitely gained confidence in shooting when moving. The hits could be better though, I still struggle with a very heavy trigger which causes a lot of trigger freeze and wide open hits. Tight trigger makes the gun move a lot in my hands when I am pulling it. That’s the problem of a brand new gun and it takes time to make it softer
It was one of those competitions that makes me drive back home in silence and question my existence lol. I did really bad today! A lot of trigger freeze, clumsy reloads, slow pace, bad hits. Moreover I totally failed one of the classifier stages 🥲
I’m proud of my stage planning though, also I got much better at moving and shooting, entering and exiting positions. But anyway I don’t want to look at the scoreboard this time 🙈
