Okay, this is cool.
On macOS, you can run an AI model to generate images.
Locally, off-grid, no credits or anything like that.
I mean it’s not perfect but it’s a nice self-hosted tool.

Remember the movie “Takedown”? an imaginary tale based on Kevin Mitnick’s… well, takedown.
The recent wave of hacks that have been going on (Thorchain, Haveno, Retoswap) reminded me of a scene where the asian guy spends all of his time “in the zone” getting ready to catch Mitnick, while Mitnick is getting comfortable and sloppy. Spoiler alert: Kevin ends up getting caught by the asian guy (Tsutomu Shimomura) and his team.
Well, now in RIL, malicious AI is working around the clock, trying to get you.
Are you getting comfortable and sloppy too? or are you doing something about it?
Looking at the Bisq exploit from a

It looks like it was as simple validation that was missing: Don’t allow negative mining fees.
Crazy stuff.
Trying to understand the appeal of Cashu over Monero.
If the end result is ecash issued by a MINT (wtf) and redeemable for Lightning sats, isn’t that introducing custodial trust back into the system?
What advantages make that tradeoff worth it for people?
It sounds like people actually want digital cash with privacy by default.
The irony is that Monero ALREADY solved this years ago without requiring mints or partial custodians.
Saw this service today on reddit that I thought was pretty cool: Pikasim 🐭⚡️
Anonymous eSIM with no signup.
The accept Bitcoin and Monero.
I tested one of them data plans and it worked OK.
the IP address I got on my phone using that data plan was from HK (accurate to description) according to ping.eu. Not entirely how it works without a VPN.
Prices are not crazy high.
They also have MCP Server for AI Agents in case you’re into that.
A company or product that sells Bitcoin but asks for your ID is risky because they will be able to tie every single transaction back to you.
Only non-KYC Bitcoin is should be acceptable for personal transactions.
Pay your bills and do XMR to Cash, BTC to Cash and other stuff.
Everything you need to live off your coins in Mexico.
They accept Bitcoin and Monero only.
Check them out.
@Proxy Pagos
I saw a lot of talks about KYC bitcoin and the importance of privacy during this year’s bitcoin conference.
It was something good to see.
There was even a small group of anons spreading the word that bitcoin is not private.
Privacy by default should be the norm.
