Question: before the cold card attack event, does anyone know of an instance of a user reporting (perhaps through social media, or otherwise) generating a new seed with CC and finding that there were already funds in the wallet? If the entropy of the seed generation was that low, this sort of collision could have happened. Reading about it could have tipped off the attacker as to the vulnerability. Also wanna say thanks to everyone on NOSTR for the extremely helpful information in this event. The signal to noise ratio here is way better here than on Reddit, X, etc. Great community!
