To build a community, we need to know one another. That’s why I’m starting PEOPLE OF THE PROTOCOL, a short-form interview series focused on getting to know #nostr plebs. Come talk about who you are, what you believe, what your interests are, and why you're here on #nostr. I will edit it into a short video (or article if you prefer) and post it here for visibility. The internet is amazing because you can be anyone. All physical aspects are irrelevant. Your entire character can be a creation, with no connection to any real identity. However, this also makes it difficult to form deep, meaningful connections. You cannot build a powerful community if it is full of fake people who only loosely know and trust one another. #nostr has the best digital community so far. Our generally shared values of freedom, integrity, and #V4V have led to lasting friendships. The memes and inside jokes help, too. But I believe we can take it to the next level.
