We've been used to a world where people from non developed countries move to developed countries seeking a better life. What we are not used to is seeing people from developed countries move to non developed countries for the same reason. And that´s whats happening in El Salvador. People from developed countries are moving here. And Salvadoreans that went abroad in the past are now coming back to heir home land. I saw this momument and it made me reflect. No one leaves its own country because they'd love to. Usually pleople leave because of need. I never wanted to leave Brazil. I love my country. It is the best in the world in my opinion. But in my view nowadays it is not sustainable to raise a family there. So it hit me to see this momument (2 sides of one heart getting back together), representing the families that now can come back home. El Salvador is showing the way...

It felt like home to me not since day 1, but since minute 1. 
 And being welcomed by the one and only Ronny from @The Bitcoin Hardware Store made it even more special.

Bitcoin has this interesting way of doing more than just fixing money. This past weekend in BTC Medellín proved it once again. Bitcoiners from different countries came together to share short talks, ideas, and experiences. No hype — just people who actually care about freedom, responsibility, and building something better. It felt less like a conference and more like a family reunion of people who mostly hadn’t met yet. After the event, 10 of us went horseback riding through the mountains…nature, fun, good food and a storm to close with “golden key”. What really stayed with me was our guide, Ricardo. The way he loves and respects the horses was inspiring. You could see it clearly: this man is living his purpose. When “money” stops stealing your time and energy, you can actually choose how to live. Sometimes that looks like building tools for freedom.
Sometimes it looks like guiding horses through the mountains. Both matter. @Micael @nnndigitalnomad

When would I imagine to ride a motorbike in such an amazing place like Medellin’s mountains and getting to know a bit of Colombia’s country? Never!

In BTCMedellin…2 legends that help even Bitcoiners to understand Bitcoin in a deep spiritual philosophical way. Jeff Booth y Oliver Velez. Oliver helped me click ~2 years ago and so I got healed from the shitcoinery disease, and Jeff is helping me (all of us obviously) go deeper and deeper. It is not just about Bitcoin. It’s about life and how we create our own reality in a conscious way. What can I say? Thank God for bringing me here!

I can’t explain in a rational way how I got here. But I am…between people that inspire me. I felt like the dumbest in the room, meaning I am in the right place. Follow the feeling! BtcMedellin!!
