Nostr is funny because when a client decides to censor its own users everyone else outside that client can still see them. I can still upload to primals media server and write notes to their relay, and everyone else on nostr that reads from their relay can see me and see the things I upload to their server. This is probably why they have such a hard time removing the childporn videos; 1Primal user complains about seeing childporn. 2Primal removes visibility to from its own users for both the person complaining and the person sharing the childporn. 3Both the person complaining and the person posting the childporn can continue using primals servers to upload media and everyone outside primal still sees both of them. 4the person sharing childporn videos has a dozen other profiles all used for uploading childporn videos to primals servers, but the 6 people who complained about 6 of the childporn uploading profiles have already been censored for complaining.
