We would like to remind you once again of the key security guidelines to help prevent account breaches, theft, and any potential data leaks.
**Do not click on suspicious links**
If someone sends you a link from an “admin,” “friend,” or “service,” make sure it leads to the official game website. Fake pages may look convincing but are designed to steal your data.
**Never share your login or password with anyone**
Administrators, moderators, and support staff of Battlestate Games will never ask for your account credentials. If someone does — they are a scammer.
**Change your password regularly**
Remember to change your password from time to time. This helps keep your account secure, especially if you use the same password for multiple services.
**Do not enter your data on random websites**
Authorization forms on third-party sites are a direct path to losing your account. Only enter your information in official applications (#EscapefromTarkov & #TarkovArena) and on official Battlestate Games resources.
● To protect your accounts, we strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) using an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.).
● This is one of the most effective ways to secure your account against unauthorized access. Even if someone obtains your password, logging in without the code from the app will be impossible.
Please set up two-factor authentication as soon as possible.
How to enable two-factor authentication:
1. Log in to the [Battlestate Games Account Center](
https://profile.tarkov.com/profile).
2. In the "Security Settings" section, click the "Set Up" button next to two-factor authentication.
3. In "Available account protection methods," select “Authenticator App — Set Up” and enable the option.
4. To configure the authenticator app, install an app such as Authy.
5. Scan the QR code using the app or enter the setup key manually.
6. Enter the unique code and click “Save.”
Thank you for your attention and for taking care of your account security.
