I tend to agree.
For this reason recently Fevela.me merged replies and quotes in the same tab.
I would like to mark low effort quotes as replies in the feed, so I can filter them easily, but it's not easy to distinguish them from legit ones.
Wisp also does this
But it's a bug that turned out to be a happy little accident

Llms too. They reveal everything to their hosters, and then they use that to train the models and also to sell the data to other third parties
