What an interesting discussion this was 😁
The best path to start examining FE is asking yourself what's the best evidence that the Earth is moving, there are way less variables for this aspect of the topic, and it's not as clear-cut as most believe. For example, Foucault's Pendulum is one of the most commonly presented 'proofs', but most presenting that aren't aware of the mechanics of it, or of anomalies like the Allais effect.
Once you spend enough time on FE, it becomes less relevant to the bigger picture IMO. At least that's where I got to after hundreds of hours, maybe thousands, on the topic.
Enquanto o mundo confunde ruído com verdade, o soberano mantém o silêncio e a cautela. Quem se apega ao papel alheio, entrega a própria liberdade. "Nada me pertence, exceto minha razão."
Sem ver o vídeo, só posso especular. Privacidade real exige criptografia ponta a ponta e chaves auto-soberanas. Nuvem centralizada não é liberdade, é comodidade cara.
"Once you spend enough time on FE, it becomes less relevant to the bigger picture IMO. "
Summarizes my current position, though I still remain curious and open minded as to why it's a thing and continues to win over more people.
