Wasabi wallet or joinmarket. Coming from Samourai you will probably get along better with Wasabi but it's a desktop tool, so it's a bit more involved than a well sandboxed apk on your phone.

You don't have to fool people, you can just accept that privacy "warriors" should not collect naive users' xpubs.

This is same thing as using someone else's Electrum server on Blue wallet or using some Monero wallet while connecting to someone one else's node or paying for a VPN with a credit card. But no is busty Blue wallet or Sparrows wallet's balls over the same thing. Privacy by trust based system is something that exists whether we like or not. Ultimately the end user/consumer has to do their own homework.

Touche. Your right. But my point remians the same. You do end up leaking information when your not running your own node. But I guess our main difference is where the responsibility lays with. I believe it's with user and you believe it's with service.

You dont have to use it. neither do I, since I have my own. but people are free to use mine if they care to trust me to not collect their XPUB. i know the butthurt runs deep, but you can just let people make their decisions.

You know it is wrong. Did you inform @kyle-moore that by doing that you would be able to track all his past, present, and future transactions? How much money does that poor guy have? Of course you did not. Otherwise, nobody would ever connect to any of those 20 or so servers maintained with the sole purpose of collecting uninformed people's xpubs. If the xpubs collecting mafia were honest they would at least add a warning sign/text saying something like "By connecting to this server you accept that the maintainer can see all your finantial activity and your balance forever. Are you okay with that?"
