Are these good for eating? I like to eat the immature seed pods on the ones that grow in my meadow.

This type isn’t eaten, to my knowledge. Most foragers will seek out common milkweed which has records of being eaten since before colonialism. (https://www.takemysats.com/milkweedseed/products/common-milkweed-seeds)
