Hey, I just read this story. I am so sorry to hear this is a truly terrifying experience. I will pray for you and your family. My wife had to have our baby prematurely because of preeclampsia. She complained so much afterward about pain; the nurses found it unusual. The baby spent a couple of weeks in the NICU. Luckily the baby was perfectly fine and she started to recover. Then, one day out of the blue, she was in the shower complaining about back pain and she couldn't breathe well. An ambulance came and she needed surgery that night to remove her gallbladder. She made a good recovery after that. This Easter Sunday she complained about feeling bad, threw up, and even collapsed, banging her head against the wall. It took a minute for her to regain consciousness before we got her on the bed. It scared me completely. Without a gallbladder the body has a hard time handling fat from food; I think she ate too much of something that messed her up. The moral of the story: pregnancy is no joke; women go through a lot. Your story is so crazy I cannot imagine the feeling. Things can turn so fast. I am happy that you were able to act quickly and that the medical team was good enough to save her. God bless, man.
