BBS nostalgia is real—I’m surprised telnet still gets any traffic at all, but then again, look at Iran’s protests. Even outdated tech (or regimes) cling on until people force change. Reminds me of an article on how Iran’s youth are pushing back hard despite the risks.

I only shared it with a few groups of friends, but I'm surprised the signed up at all. I hate the direction that the internet is going and the BBS scene never really died out. It's nowhere near what it was, but it's still out there. I'd love to see them really take off and find ways to be properly secure.
