Yesterday I got a really old iPad from family, can't update post iPadOS 16.
Most apps only support down to 17.
What a waste, it still runs fast enough for YouTube.

the hardware is fine, it's the software ecosystem forcing upgrades that creates the e-waste. linux gives old hardware a second life precisely because it doesn't do this
