Solo mining ftw

F2Pool is actively attacking the network RIGHT NOW. All it takes is one attacker to send them a single instance of CSAM, and Bitcoin users will have to knowingly and intentionally receive, store, and distribute it until the end of time. This will permanently impact Bitcoin adoption regardless of whether governments turn a blind eye or prosecute. If miners are going to switch pools when they do bad things, NOW IS THE TIME. I don't care if you switch to Foundry or even Antpool. Obviously I would prefer you make your own blocks and use OCEAN, but this is too critical and time-sensitive to be picky. We can work on mining decentralization and spam issues over a longer period of time, but CSAM is an insta-kill we MUST avoid.

@Luke Dashjr i’m trying to find the solution here. bitcoin is permissionless, BIP-110 censors spam. i don’t want spam on a monetary network. i also don’t want someone telling me what’s real and what’s not. BIP-110 is dangerous because it sacrifices Bitcoin's core promises—predictability, backward compatibility, and censorship resistance—to solve a temporary "spam" issue, risking network instability and fractured governance in the process.
Bip 110 just takes Bitcoin back to how it used t9 be for the most part. How does it sacrifice predictability, and backward compatibility?
“Censors spam” lol way to discredit yourself. What’s the point of having a monetary network if you allow scammers and spammers to take over? It’s not censorship, it’s fucking maintenance. Even Satoshi did everything possible to “censor” spam lol 😂
Prior softforks added capabilities/fixed defined bugs. BIP-110 removes a valid use case based on a value judgment about what Bitcoin is for. These permissions, if implemented, change what it is. I want to agree and run knots but I don’t want bitcoin to be controlled. This opens that door.
I'll probably give a lot away to help onboard new users. I don't need much the way live. Free sun - free sats. If we need a fork, so be it. Truth always wins out in the end. I don't mind being seen as an underdog for a bit.
If you believe that JPEGs, shitcoins like Citreas stable coin scam, the $dog coin rune scam or large op returns belong on Bitcoin… I really don’t have time to convince how stupid you are. I suggest going to ETH. That’s where that shit belongs, and BIP 110 will activate soon.

Why call it bugs when arbitrary data field size seems like a straightforward design or balancing decision like block weight in SegWit?
