6 months ago, I was let go from my job as part of a company wide “Restructuring”. When I found out, I wasn’t upset. I was so unfazed that I spent most of the time trying to get my manager to relax. She was professional, but you could tell that she didn’t want to do this, but had to.
I left the building and immediately began to pray. “Alright God, it’s clear to me that you no longer need me here. What’s next?”
I would be lying if I said there weren’t days where I stressed out, places I thought I was going to get the job and didn’t, worries about money, etc.
But God, in his infinite wisdom, put me exactly where I need to be and I couldn’t be more excited for this role.
