I don't get it. I don't get either side of it. The primal-only people or the primal haters.

Amethyst has always been my daily driver but the last couple updates it's been so buggy for me that I've been forced onto ditto. I still open amethyst if I want to post a picture because it automatically uploads to my nostr.build account and Ditto doesn't. The four clients I have on my phone are Amethyst, Ditto, Yakihonne, and Primal. Primal is the one I never use except for verifying issues with other clients. Like if NWC breaks in Amethyst and still works in Primal then I know the issue is with Amethyst and not Alby.

Using he same nwc since years. No issues on my side. Maybe issue wie Tor and the alby relay?

Could be. If I delete the app connection in AlbyHub AND delete the Amethyst app data in my phone, and then reconnect NWC it will work for a couple days before it breaks again. Works fine anytime I try it with Primal. I think it's a stale cache issue.

It's likely a tor circuit building issue. Try clearing all data (not just cache) and signing back in, I'll bet you it starts working again. Fix hopefully in the next update.

That's what I have to do. Yeah. Clear all data and sign back in. It's not worth the trouble of having to do every couple of days. I just hand zaps off to the AlbyGo wallet app and accept that I can't have working NWC in Amethyst right now.

Are there alternatives next to Primal? And why the hate against it?
