Here is NOSTR surfaced Cashu which in my opinion is far more advanced and practical. Basically enables instant payments like lightning but adds: + No limits on values + Guaranteed payment on source + Can be shared off-line + Monero or any other currency as usable

cashu is based on LN no difference in maintenance cost
