Interest is very important part of the lending and borrowing. If both mutually agree with the terms, I see no problems.

Honestly what's the difference? Using Monero is voluntary just like interest from lending and borrowing.
If you don't like the interest don't take out the loan. If you don't like Moneros tail emission don't use it.
