βš‘οΈπŸ€‘πŸ‡«πŸ‡· NEW - I don’t understand Bitcoin but I have an opinion France central bank governor, FranΓ§ois Villeroy de Galhau says "I trust more independent central banks with a democratic mandate than private issuers of Bitcoin".

β€žThe public rule is key.β€œβ€¦ I give a shit about the public rule or what the majority in a democracy wants. Fuck your fiat money, fuck your CBDCs and fuck yourself, you filthy parasite. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Fascinating discussion. As much as I want Europe to check America's Imperial Ambition, it's hard not to feel contempt for the central bankers' preening and sneering at the prospect of decentralized freedom money.
Not him, but this plan seems to be working for them: 1) getting people to think of Bitcoin as an investment instead of money 2) focusing on KYC'd centralized wallets 3) eventually going to focus heavily on ETFs and other fake Bitcoin. 4) moving into Bitcoin as stocks (micro strategy and others) 5) having exchanges only accept transactions from KYC wallets 6) arresting people building privacy tools on Bitcoin 7) ??? 8) ??? 9) ??? 10) Bitcoin is money only used by criminals, you wouldn't want to be a criminal would you?
