I would suggest you to follow what article say, it's a good start. Besides that, there is much more to do to achieve solid sovereignty, but start with that

It's mostly irrelevant. I've had a hardware company and for about 4 years it didn't even accept fiat for its products. But I'm talking about sovereignty in transporting physical goods, the article and author probably have no better ideas than to comply with state regulations, have registration as an importer and go through all the gov harassment just to get your physical goods over to the customer. It's easy to advice when all you do is software or service. But once you touch the physical realm, there is not much sovereignty possible.
