Yes, the corn did good. The cooler weather resulted in shorter ears and less pollination though. Maybe the short daylight hours too.
We'll not grow it through the winter again. I'll try a fall crop earlier in the season, or just grow in the spring. Traditional harvest time is May here. I was pushing the seasons as an experiment ๐
We put about 40 cups of corn in the freezer and ate about 3 weeks fresh.๐ฝ

Yes, we recently got labeled as zone 9, from 8b before. Our summer droughts and high temps makes it hard to grow anything in the summer.
Oh, I can imagine how tough that is. I got relabled from 9a to 9b. Everyone's getting warmer.
I am trying to raise crops that tolerate this new hotter climate. Might come in handy if times get tough. My plants are part of my insurance against our unknown future.
I can live without money, but not food!๐
