Can anyone explain to me how you have the right to your freedom of speech, on a centralized and controlled platform that's owned by a country that doesn't believe in any moral version on freedom of speech themselves?
Yes. Every Chinese company is owned and controlled by the CCP. If I’m going to live among brainwashed NPCs addicted to centralized social media, I’d much rather they be brainwashed by people who share the same culture and country. At least this way, those doing the brainwashing have some skin in the game and have to coexist with the NPCs they influence. Forcing TikTok to divest and hand over ownership to an American company seems like a perfectly logical and fair solution.
