Cool, was there simply a bitcoin symbol option to pay when they turned the screen around to you ? Or ddi you have to ask for the payment option ?
The lady who runs the business told me 1. she needed to sign up for #bitcoin payments with Square first, and then 2. select "other payment types" before turn the screen around to show me the QR code.
Hopefully as Square becomes more comfortable with this new feature they can make it more of a default option like Speed Pay does for Steak n' Shake.
Ahh, thanks. So, pretty easy for like a one-person food cart but a little more friction if you we're asking an employee that probably can't add payment types. Ya my hope would have been that it basically defaults to accepting bitcoin and converting to fiat. That i could walk up to any square terminal and say ' im paying with my phone' and they don't know if im using cashapp, or google pay, or bitcoin lightning. They just turn the screen around and let me process the whole thing.
