Right now Nostr is a bitcoin circlejerk. When people come here all they see is bitcoin, bitcoin and more bitcoin. I don't disagree with your mission and the mission of bitcoin but at some point it gets old and annoying for the average Joe. People already hate crypto with all the scams and rug pulls. The bitcoin part of Nostr pushes people away. They hear bitcoin and they are immediatley scared.

That's just a reflection of your own follow thread. Add a new account and add people from global who are not bitcoiners. There are tons. Artists, creatives, writters, religious, cranks. It's all there.
Freedom entails responsibility, if you are not adjusting the signal you are receiving in a constructive way, such as subcribing to people you disagree with. That's on you.
Yes, there are peoples with different topics but they aren't tons. Some time ago I made a thread on 4chan about nostr and all the replies were something in the lines of "Bitcoin circlejerk. Fuck off" or "Buy an ad". As I have said, when people get on nostr the first thing they see is bitcoin and they get scared.
