Meditation can have several meanings and flavours.
It can be a deep meditative state with Theta/Delta brainwaves like yogis practice. But a silent reflection, spiritual devotion or attentiveness to your breath can be beneficial. For some, reading a good book or smoking a cigar can bring you peace.
What matters in the end is reconnecting with your inner self, with your soul.
