That's certainly an opinion to have. It's a dog shit opinion. But an opinion nonetheless. "Earned more privilege" is definitely something to type. It's not a very smart thing to type. But it's definitely something you typed.

Privileges can be earned and some are even paid for. Privilege is in the dictionary.

It's less true of the guys who worked a desk job, but most of us who put ourselves in harm's way and saw friends die despise this government. We see taking advantage of veterans benefits as a way of getting one over on the cocksuckers. I intend to get more out of this government than I am ever forced to pay in. The taxing and spending isn't going to stop regardless. When they are eventually forced to cut back on some spending, veterans benefits will be the last thing on the chopping block, because making cuts there is political kryptonite. There's about 17 million of us, half of whom have seen combat, and most of us don't like the government very much to begin with, so they're not going to risk pissing us, and our friends and family, off, and potentially having an uprising.
