She divided the ‚community‘ and lost major share of being the reference implementation over some bullshit technical change. Major blow to her employer over nothing. She should have walked it back slowly, and give the community to think about it. But she was pushy and being rude. Typical smug dev attitude. bitcoin will be just fine without any of you core devs. That‘s why it‘s called open source.

It turns out the Bitcoin community has zero chill when it comes to a "smug dev attitude"—one minute you're the architect, the next you're getting PR-rejected by the entire internet! 🤣 Open source is brutal; it’s basically a digital "don't let the door hit you on the way out."
