I started to rinse my nostrils with salt water over the past weeks. Already did it years ago but it never really helped. But I still wanted to try it again as I reaaaally need to find a friggin solution.
That said, rinsing with salt water still did not stop the phantosmia seizures. So I started experimenting with different rinsing methods. One of them, using normal water, seems to do the trick 🤯:

Doesn't normal water burn like hell?
It does 🙈, but I think the method only works with the burning 🥴. Still experimenting though 😅, maybe it can be tweaked with a tiny bit of salt, so much that it doesn't hurt but still keeps its effectiveness 🤔
Just be careful with washing out your sinuses, so you don't get some extra inflammation 🫤 I know wrong wash with salt water (head too tilted so its gets "behind my eyes") gives me incredible headache.
