AFAIK Saylor never talked about Bitcoin as money. He always did it as asset.
That made sense for him, because he was “backing” his stock with BTC the asset and needed many to follow that narrative.
Until he started issuing credit to buy more bitcoin. Then he stopped talking about bitcoin the asset, and started talking about bitcoin as digital capital.
Either way, for him the important thing is that he controls others’ bitcoin. In other words, he wants to centralize as much of it to become a sort of bank, or even a central bank (of the “crypto economy”)
BIP 110 represents again a grassroots movement that encourages people to enforce their own rules in the mempool, to run their own nodes, to reject the type of transactions that harm long-term decentralization of bitcoin. In other words, to be self-sovereign.
This self-sovereignty is of no use to Saylor, so he opposes it.
That’s my pleb’s take.

I learned about Bitcoin being money from Saylor. So he absolutely did talk about it as money.
Then, nothing else that you said about Saylor wanting to do with Bitcoin infringes on your ability to be self sovereign.
I don't assume that BIP110 is a grass roots movement though I am sympathetic to the reasons it exists.
I'm just don't think it's a good solution and don't think it sets a good precedent for activation for future BIPs. Nor do I like the idea of temporary "solutions"
That's my take, all good if you disagree. I don't expect to change your mind.
saylor is wallst PIMP
He clearly never believed it to be money. Actions speak much louder than words.
Dude is saving so much Bitcoin and you're telling him he's not using it as money?
Wild take
Did you not see his stupid smoking in the oil field ai ad? The ad literally days strc turns btc into money. Not sure how its a wild take to Saylor doesn't understand money.
You should study Austrian economics.
Lol yeah that was retarded, but damn calm down dude.
I am calm, but this is deadly serious. Bitcoin is the closest to sound money we have. It is one of the only tools in your average Joe's toolbox to fight back against the government's that make us vax, censor us, seek to control us, etc. Do me a favor. Pick a "bitcoin" company. Go to their website and look up their investors, seed funders, etc. Go to Edgar and look up each of those investors. Look at the other companies they invest in. You'll quickly realize that all these "based bitcoin" companies are part of the same interconnected web of investors. You'll begin to see a pattern. Then look at what the people and influencers at your favorite "bitcoin" company are saying about BIP-110. It becomes really black and white.
Do you form your opinions based on what other people say or your own research because you're making your point about this based off of who's side I should be on.
