You sir, were the original inspiration. Last year I got a box of those from @Bearetta left to distribute. I started reprogramming them to open the profile of the person I handed it to, so they can use it instead of the often hard-to-read QR code.

Four from the original batch, but today I sticked 160 tags on 160 tokens... So I should be good for a while now. I like your transparent tags better, but I was not able to find them anywhere in reasonable amount and price. So please let me know where did you get them.
