If I can make one recommendation it's some combination of their software
I use loopback and audio hijack in conjunction with one another. But it depends on your needs.

What’s your setup?
A Shure mic, a USB cable, and audacity. And some studio headphones I had lying around.
Gotta have one of these though, the pop filter. It's a godsend. Makes sure you're not blowing air into your mic when you talk.
