Can I choose both but remove “force” so I can still be involved politically? I don’t want to force anyone but I think a community or state should be able to freely choose to be a Christian state and name Jesus their king. Those citizens should also be free to stay or leave.
My wife and I lost our precious first grandson to cancer treatment. He died the day before his sixth birthday with us at his bedside. A few days before he passed, sensing my sorrow, he said "Don't be sad, Papa; Jesus is always with me." Hundreds of Jesus' contemporary followers observed his life, his execution, entombment, and his subsequent resurrection from the dead. Several of those witnesses recorded his promise to raise those allegiant to him on the last day. Because of this history, we rely on Jesus to keep his promise to do that, both for our grandson and for ourselves. I'm unaware of ANY other REMOTELY comparable guarantee from any other source, are you?
