I mean obviously we disagree but this conversation was never about whether that’s right or wrong. In fact I’m happy to see people disagreeing without assuming bad intent! My point above was that comments like “I hope the next wave of Bitcoin developers agree with me instead”, which you made above, are pretty shitty. If you want to see a wave of Bitcoin developers that agrees with you, do something about it! Either contribute yourself or help find new developers. Slipping in sideways celebration that someone contributing a ton to Bitcoin was driven out by harassment at the end of a comment isn’t gonna inspire anyone to work on it, and worse it’s just gonna discourage people who might have wanted to bring in the next wave of developers to give up because who wants to bring in more people just for them to suffer absurd harassment?

First you misquoted me, you put quotes around a phrase I never said. And the thing that you misquoted is right after I said I feel like Bitcoin lost someone who was good. I will wrap this up and start battering you because I don't see us coming to any kind of connection here. You are also projecting a whole lot of shit onto me that's not there in the first place. And you're basically saying that because I hope that people who fill roles on the Bitcoin core team are aligned with values and ideals that I hold it makes me a shithead. And it seems to me the difference between us is I'm willing to accept you and your viewpoints and have challenging, constructive conversations with you without calling your names or speaking down to you. But you're not going to do the same for me. For some reason, you feel justified in calling me a shithead because of an opinion I hold. It is what it is and it basically makes my point.. and you can call me whatever you like.
