Since you do see a blood sugar spike when consuming lactose you should assume your blood test is accurate until proven otherwise. How often do you test and have your glucose numbers been trending down before this? Not sure if you're covered under NL's health system or have insurance that would cover getting a blood and urine test. There's a lot that could be going wrong here

No insurance yet. I need a BSN number and that is forthcoming. Yeah, I did the test to check machine accuracy. I first used a CGM in '21 and found out I was waking up in the 50s. It explained my AM grogginess. I have tested with CGM or prick at least 3x/yr for a few weeks each time ever since. I started experimenting with food and made progress. Tried keto in '22 and found that my body being fat fuel adapted really stabilized my BS. These ~30 readings are with 0-20g carbs/day so I will stay in the 20-50g range when I keto, which is my norm. I don't have this problem there.
It is wildly mind blowing to see these figures and defo makes me wonder what is going on, like the biochem of it. Thanks, H🫂
