Have you ever said or heard someone say “are you thinkin what I’m thinkin” in real life? I never have and it's odd that actors say it all the time on tv image

I think it's one of those stage devices, like pointing a gun at someone, that works for quick storytelling, but doesn't happen irl that much
Still, I figured someone I know would have used it at some point in an actual conversation. I probably know more people who have pointed a gun at someone than said this common line 😂
You get what I mean though lol. Often someone quickly does what person demands in movies cuz gun. So many guns in movies!
Don't like atting people I'm not particularly nostr-close with. He's known for not having done a number of things that most people have
With their friends who's parents have similar values they're fairly similar. Some of those similarities are no screens (they can watch a movie or show on the projector on Saturday after working the farmers market w me), free play- mostly outside, travel as a family for big chunks of the year, homeschool/forest school, respectful parenting without punishments or shaming, clean diet, etc Compared to their cousins or other standard american kids its a big difference. They can carry a full conversation with adults while looking in their eyes (and with lots of stoke), whereas you can barely get two words out of the others. The other big one is they never get bored- the few times they've said they are they immediately got to work and do chores lol Also their overall health and robustness is quite different from the cousins who are pretty much all dealing with some sort of development issue or allergy (most likely jab injuries).. Yet we're the crazy black sheep in our families 🤔 The cognitive dissonance grows with each passing year
Of course they were all thinking the same thing. "I like fun, I like breathing, I like eating, I like pretty girls, I like machines, I like yellow," etc. Who in the world isn't constantly thinking these things?
