this is a great non bitcoiner intro to nostr! i had an experience recently where I was trying to set up a relay for a community through an organization with a wide reach where i wish i had this handy. i didnt mention anything about bitcoin, but they came back and backed out of it because in their own research they ran into bitcoiner content that instantly put nostr in the "blockchain" compartment in their head. they dont wanna hear nothing about no web sockets after they come to tht conclusion. im not saying we have to censor all the bitcoiners (I share the enthusiasm about empowering countries outside of the imperial core and toppling washington dc) but we might need a bitcoin filter on nostr apps thats on by default so people have the choice to opt in to seeing that content. the masses are still asleep so we should be more mindful of scarying them away with revolutionary tech when they step in the door...nobody likes to be woken up by shaking them violently lol
