You can use other file/media servers than nostr.build and the other few big ones. You just have to have yours added to a whitelist. I think.

Yes, the notes (on the relays) don't contain the images, the media servers do.

Sorry forgot to say, not sure if it was referencing this note. I think it was nip-related. But it wasnt this note I was thinking of. From a user I'd not heard of 🤔. Very well could be referencing the same thing. They were talking about using nostr as a file host, so possibly 🤔
