Isn't bump a forum thing because a new reply will 'bump' a thread back to the top of the list of posts in the forum? Which is why people would get upset if you would bump what had been a dead thread, the necrobump.

Yes 😂 Very much like boosting or replying to an old thread here will make it show up again in people's feeds, where their feed is otherwise chronological.
Yeah I’d love for clients to deal with the non-quote repost differently, just bump it to the top and remove older “copy”
