Well, you wouldn't want to sleep on updates for a full year if holding monero, based on what you wrote above. Which is a bit scary to some who presumably aren't that into following the latest changes. That's all I'm saying. Trade offs... And yes, we all do a fair bit of trusting/following, but the difference is one can be more comfortable "checking out" of the bitcoin scene and remain confident their money is ok. Unless I'm missing something. I'll be the first to admit I'm not as well educated on forking as I should be. Kinda embarrassing tbh
