Nostr has a long-standing engagement and retention problem. New users still trend to zero. Flooding the network with bots doesn't fix that. They distort the metrics, mask the issue, and accelerate the decline. #IKITAO

The group that stays engaged is awesome, but yeah, Nostr sadly doesn't seem to be growing. It's still a cool, open playground for experimentation. As more people move toward Discord, they will realize Nostr may be one of the better places to be semi-anonymous and partake in discussions without censorship. The good of that will also bring the bad. Seeing more "openclaw" replies on my posts definitely isn't going to help keep people around, lol. What's your take on the Moltbot stuff? Have you played around with it? It seems like a security nightmare. I've avoided it for now, but it seems like where things are going to trend. Hope all is well!
Hope you're well as well. I haven't deployed anything with Moltbot yet—but I have been testing things in isolation. From a threat-model perspective, autonomous agents interacting on an open protocol expand the attack surface fast. Qubes OS—app qubes, disposables—keeps that contained. Whether it becomes durable infrastructure or just a phase depends on how people handle trust boundaries. I'm watching it. Not rushing in.
Well... For a bitcoin people network, nostr are in the rightway, i discover that each client have your own highlights, do you test another clients ? You must ! This can surprise you ! I start to follow some people to learn something, now i have a clear idea about what i want to do to stay in my place in nostr world.
Okay hear me out. We use a blitz payment pool to raise funds for a boxing match. Maybe host it on zap.stream or similar. Winner takes half, other half goes to opensats or a geyser Nostr marketing project to get more normies on Nostr and actually have their stuff engaged with.
