Mother fuckers we’re born into technology and don’t need understand they use it all day everyday and can’t google their way out of a paper bag
It's frustrating, but then I remember a time when I was just as dumb
People want you to just give it to them, they don't understand, it takes real work to understand bitcoin
My embarrassing story is that I got into Ether before I got into #bitcoin. I wrote a book in 2021 and started accepting payments in crypto back then so got a .eth address for crypto payments. It’s only when I joined #nostr that I realized there is no second best

Most people need to understand how fiat actually works for them to understand the need for something completely different like bitcoin

I get that too, but I tell them I use the math of public key cryptography tp participate in a parallel economy that has no inflation, Bitcoin: A protocol Erik Cason calls a commonwealth on the Internet...Not casino coins.
I don’t even do that! I just tell people that it’s advanced peer-to-peer technology that I’m betting on to keep getting more valuable
